Anchor has produced situation assessments and worked with stakeholders to produce Estuary Management Plans for a number of estuaries, including the Olifants, Berg, Uilkraals, Hartenbos and Great Brak Estuaries, South Africa. These entail determining the freshwater flow requirements, zonation and management of each estuary so as to optimise their value while protecting their biodiversity and ecosystem services.
